How To: Managing High & Low Threat Event Alerts

report_problem In the case of a critical event, there are certain actions available within the LVT Command Center for a response. The following is the navigation to those actions, functionalities, and descriptions:

Prerequisites:

Managing [High Threat] Event Alerts

  1. Within the LVT Command Center queue, locate the desired event.
  2. info If you are responding to a High Threat alert immediately, the events are listed chronologically by default within the queue, and the desired event will be located at the top.

  3. Click Expand. The Expand Event View appears, and the Event Clip tab appears by default.
  4. Within the Event Clip tab, you can select any of the following in the response to a high threat event within the queue:
  • Map: to view the location of your unit and approximate location of the intrusion (if generated from a satellite view.
  • Contacts: to view whom to contact on the site.
  • Procedures: to view a list of protocols to complete for this type of intrusion event alert.
  • Light: to turn on the unit light to view the secured area if it has darkened.
  • Direct Dial: to call the site directly.

Disarming & Resolving High Threat Event Alerts

  1. Within the LVT Command Center queue, locate the desired event.
  2. info If you are responding to a High Threat alert immediately, the events are listed chronologically by default within the queue, and the desired event will be located at the top

  3. Click the Disarm tab. The Disarm section appears.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the disclaimer text within the Disarm section, and click the I understand what I’m about to do check-box.
  5. Select a Time Range for how long you want the camera disarmed. The Notes tab highlights in red.
  6. Enter details about the event into the Notes tab.
  7. check_circle In order to resolve an event alert, you must add notes.

    build  If desired, associate tags to the event to sort it for later use within the Tags tab. Some events require tags to resolve based on your admin settings.

  8. Click Resolve. The event alert resolves and the unit disarms.

Disarming & Resolving [Low Threat] Event Alerts

check_circle After viewing an Event Alert, you may determine that there was a faulty, non-threat, or low-threat detection. If the intrusion does not need to be reported, or the site of the unit does not need to be contacted, the process is as follows:

  1. Within the LVT Command Center queue, locate the desired event by finding it chronologically.
  2. Use the Queue and Location drop-down filters at the top of your screen to find the desired event if not immediately found.
  3. Select the Disarm tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the disclaimer text within the Disarm tab, and click the I understand what I’m about to do check-box.
  5. Select a Time Range for how long you want the camera disarmed. The Notes tab highlights in red.
  6. Enter details about the event into the Notes tab.
  7. build In order to resolve an event alert, you must add notes and/or tags.

  8. Click Resolve. The event alert resolves and is removed from the LVT Command Center queue.
