How to: Reprogram the EFOY After Replacement

OVERVIEW: This procedure goes over how to reprogram a new EFOY after it gets replaced in the field.

REPROGRAM THE EFOY CONTROLLER

  1. Power on the EFOY controller by plugging it in. 
  2. Select language: English.
  3. Select and set the type for connector 1 and 2:
    1. Select Connector 1
    2. Select Cartridge
    3. Select M28
    4. Select Connector 2
    5. Select Cartridge
    6. Select M28
  4. Select and set the battery type:
    1. Hit the back button a few times to make sure you’re back at the main menu
    2. Press and hold the menu and ok buttons together to enter the expert menu.
    3. Set Switch on voltage to 24.4 volts
    4. Set Switch off voltage to 28 volts
    5. Set Switch off current to 3 amps
    6. Set max charge time to 12 hours
  5. Press the back button 2-3 times to return to the main menu.
